2008 FUN CLUB STAFF:
Amy Ewaldt: Ms. Amy…well, you already know more than a mouthful about me. For full details, click on the Welcome page to the right!
Nicole Egnot: Ms. Nicole joined the FUN CLUB team last year and we are happy to have her back for 2008-09!
Ms. Nicole is originally from Ohio, although she has been calling Chicago home for the past five years. She is currently finishing her Early Childhood Education degree, and brings her love of and expertise with preschool-aged children to our program.
In her free time, she enjoys writing, reading, and playing with her kitten, Mister!
Jessie Wayburn: Ms. Jessie Wayburn joined FUN CLUB in 2008 and has loved every minute!
Ms. Jessie is originally from Columbia, South Carolina, and received her BA from the College of Charleston in Theatre. She relocated to Chicago in 2006 to pursue her career as a Stage Manager, and hasn’t looked back! Ms. Jessie brings over ten years of experience working with children of all ages—her experience ranges from babysitting to mentoring low-income students in science—and almost everything in between.
In her free time, Jessie enjoys knitting, cooking for friends, and trying new adventures. Her current adventure? Managing a fledgling theatre company called The New Colony. Check them out and www.thenewcolony.org and be sure to wish Ms. Jessie a warm welcome to the Menomonee family!
Ms. Susan Helfeld: Ms. Susan is new to the FUN CLUB staff, but not to the FUN CLUB world! A familiar, friendly face on our field trip circuit, Ms. Susan’s three years of nannying have made her a delightful presence to many Menomonee families.
Ms. Susan is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, but has lived in Chicago for the past twelve years. She holds a BA in Early Childhood Education and is a former pre-school and first grade teacher. Ms. Susan is looking forward to returning to the early childhood education field with her FUN CLUB friends!
In her free time, she enjoys learning and studying Karate, in which she is currently a white belt.
NOTE: Ms. Susan will no longer be with FUN CLUB on a full-time basis, so that she can commit more of her time to her new personal concierge business, Everybody Needs a Susan! We look forward to seeing her for surprise visits and as a substitute throughout the rest of the year. www.everybodyneedsasusan.com
